About us

Mnyameni homestay?

Mnyameni homestay is very simply, part of Nolwandile Ndovela's home converted into an accommodation. It is similar in concept to that of a bed and breakfast but you also experience more than that. Guests are either accommodated in the family home, or in separate quarters nearby. We provide our guests with just as much comfort as a reputable hotel

Purpose

Our main purpose is to provides travellers to experience beauty of the Eastern Cape Mpondoland Wild coast and culture of the our place. We provide an opportunity to stay with a local family for a fee. It's an affordable accommodation alternative, ideal for independent leisure travellers of all ages, interns, gap year students, students living abroad and anyone seeking a real and genuine travel experience. We work with our Guides to help our guests find their feet in a new place, whether it’s help with local orientation or places to eat.

This hike takes 3 days and 2 nights

Price: R 3700.00pp
Includes: Local Guide, All meals, Pertmit fee to Mkhambathi Nature reserve, Linen, accommodation, selected drinks, and shuttle back to the cars
Highlights:
Mzamba fossils, Red desert, Weolmi 303 shipwreck, Mkhambathi falls, Mnyameni WaterfallS, Mkhambathi Nature reserve, Strandloper falls, and Mfihlelo falls
Minimum of 4 and maximum of 15 people.

Wild Coast Sun To Msikaba

This hike takes 4 days and 3 nights.

Price: R 3400.00pp
Includes: 2 nights accommodation, meals,packing lunch, guide’s fee, Mkhambathi nature reserve fee, ferries and shuttle back to the cars.
Highlights:
Mzamba fossils, Red desert, Weolmi 303 shipwreck, Mkhambathi falls, Strandloper falls, and Mfihlelo falls
Minimum of 4 and maximum of 15 people.

Wild Coast Sun to Mbotyi

This hike takes 5 days and 4 nights.

Price: R 4500.00 pp
Includes: 4 nights accommodation, meals, packing lunch, guide’s fee, Mkhambathi Nature reserve, ferries and shuttle back to the cars.
Highlights:
Mzamba fossils, Red desert, Weolmi 303 shipwreck, Mkhambathi falls, Strandloper falls, Mbaxeni falls, Waterfall bluff, Mamba pools, Cathedral rock, and Mfihlelo falls
Minimum of 3 and maximum of 15 people.

Wild Coast Sun to Port St. Johns

This hike takes 8 days and 7 nights

Price: R 6000.00 pp

Includes: 7 nights accommodation, meals, packing lunch, guide’s fee, ferries and shuttle back to Port Edward.
Slackpacking Option: R 7500pp
Highlights:
Mzamba fossils, Red desert, Weolmi shipwreck, Mkhambathi falls, Strandloper falls, Mbaxeni falls, Grosvenor wreck site,Grosvenor wreck site, Waterfall bluff, Mamba pools, Cathedral rock, Mfihlelo falls, Black sands, Ntafufu mangroves and Poenskop cave.
